I want to offer you an invitation.
It is pretty special, and I am sure you won’t regret it.
I want to invite you for a summer photo session.
I know we only bother taking our pictures when fall comes, the leaves are colorful, or even in winter with all the snow. And I know how when it is warm, we all forget how cold we were during that beautiful, white and wet season.
But winter here in Utah lasted so long, I can still remember myself in the freezing temperatures. Hoping I wouldn’t have to amputate my fingers by the end of a photo shoot.
But on Summer…
summer has green leaves, breathtaking sunsets and red mountains. Colorful aprons on a Saturday barbecue, water from sprinklers
and smiles all over.
On Summer, we also have kids truly happy wearing their shorts with their favorite Disney characters in it, and girls with flowery dresses.
One year I have received a Christmas card with pictures of my husband’s friend’s kids running on a beautiful beach in California. I was at my house, looking at the snow, and wishing for a summer Christmas. Just like the ones in Brazil. Either way, that picture made my Christmas warmer, and gave me a realization: that someday, I would also send a “warm” and happy picture of a sunny and warm day to my friends who like me, are surrounded by snow.
So this year, I would like to invite you for a photo session. Colorful, happy and warm.
We will play in the water, build sand castles around a lake, register true smiles and just have fun.
Under the warm, short and most beautiful season Utah has:
Summer.
