Andressa and Johnny {expecting}

People say you get pregnant again because you forget how hard your first pregnancy was.

I say it is because you remember how happy you were. And also, yes… because you forget some of it too. ;)

Andressa and Johnny are expecting their first, and will probably remember how happy they are right now. Also, how much I made poor Andressa walk from one place to another downtown Salt Lake.

Totally worth it though.

We got the best of the sunset, and they even turned the lights on at the Capitol Building towards the end of our photo session.

Better yet,

the laughs.

Andressa and Johnny, goo luck on your new adventure!

The Denning Family

Can I just add (of course you will see this in less than a second) that this mom had four children?

4.

She looks like she just graduated from high school.

Me on the other hand… well, let’s just talk about the Denning Family, shall we?

They studied here in good old Utah, and now live in NY. How amazing is that?

To know both how sweet and busy the world can be.

To know how nice it is to be on the rush of every day life,

but to always find time to stop, visit and take some of the beautiful Utah mountains,

and the cutest blue eyed children I have ever seen,

home.

The Wintrell Family

It seems that summer is saying good bye.

The sun is rising later in the day, and living us earlier in the afternoon.

More than the farewell of a season (don’t alarm yourself, we still have a month).

I have also learned that one does not grow older with his wife or husband. It is much more than that.

They grow in numbers,

they grow in years together,

they grow in love,

they grow happy.

Photography Day

I saw on a couple of friends’ status that today is the International Day of Photography.

Is it really? I didn’t know.

I never recall important dates.

Once, I forgot it was Valentine’s Day. – poor Nathan.

Goodness, one time I even forgot it was my birthday! True story. You can ask my husband about that one.

But even though a beautiful summer sunset is about to start, I thought it would be so much nicer to post a picture of my ultimate inspiration. It was because of him I started my career. It was because of him I found myself. As a mom, as a professional as a better person. A complete different, better person.

“Love you? I am you.”

And of course, a much chubbier (nonetheless loved just the same) inspiration:

The Barreto Family

I bet sometimes you wonder about your friends from college, high school or even your friends from when you were a child.

I do.

I still have contact with some, thanks to technology. And others, thanks to BYU.

I spent a big part of my infancy playing (maybe fighting a little) with Bruno. We’ve known each other for more than 20 years.

And I think the good part of keeping contact with your old friends is that they truly know how silly you really are.

But the best part is to know that they grew up to be great people, who married a great and beautiful (gorgeous really) girl, have the cutest baby boy

and are happy.

Make new friends, but keep the old ones.

They will always bring you sweet and funny memories.
